6. Prices, Quotations and Taxes

Prices shown on the website may be:

  • Indicative reference prices (for example, EXW, FOB or FCA from a given location), or
  • “Price on request”, where a specific quotation will be prepared.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • Prices do not include VAT, customs duties, local taxes, insurance, installation or commissioning.
  • Final prices, Incoterms, quantities and payment terms will be confirmed in a written Proforma Invoice, Sales Contract or Quotation sent by email.
  • We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before accepting an order.

The buyer is responsible for all taxes, duties and charges applicable in the country of import, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Orders and Contract Formation

Submitting a quote request or order through the website does not automatically create a binding contract.

A contract is only formed when:

  1. We issue a written Order Confirmation / Proforma Invoice stating the equipment, quantity, price, delivery terms and payment terms; and
  2. You accept it according to the instructions indicated (for example, by written acceptance or advance payment).

We may refuse or cancel any order in case of:

  • Unavailability of equipment
  • Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the buyer
  • Suspected fraud or misuse
  • Non‑payment or breach of previous obligations

8. Payment Terms

Payment methods and terms (bank transfer, letter of credit, advance payment, etc.) are defined in the written quotation or contract.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • All payments must be made in the currency stated in the invoice.
  • Bank charges and transfer costs are borne by the buyer.
  • We may suspend production, preparation or shipment until payment is received as agreed.

In case of late payment, we may charge interest or apply other remedies permitted by law and contract.

9. Delivery, Risk and Ownership

Delivery terms (Incoterms), delivery address and approximate delivery time will be indicated in the quotation or contract.

  • Risk in the goods normally passes to the buyer according to the agreed Incoterm.
  • Ownership of the goods remains with A F T TRADING L.L.C (or its supplier) until full payment is received.
  • Any delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed; delays may result from transport, customs, production or other factors beyond our control.

The buyer is responsible for checking local regulations, permits and technical requirements for operating the equipment in the destination country.

10. Inspection and Claims

Upon receipt of the equipment, the buyer must inspect the goods as soon as reasonably possible and notify A F T TRADING L.L.C of:

  • Any visible damage or discrepancies in quantity, and
  • Any major non‑conformity with the agreed specifications.

Claims must be made within the time limit specified in the contract or, if not specified, within a reasonable time after delivery.
Failure to notify us in time may result in loss of the right to claim.

11. Warranties and Liability

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Used equipment is typically sold “as is, where is” with no warranty other than what is expressly stated in the contract.
  • New equipment may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty; its terms and conditions will apply and may vary by brand, country and product.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (such as loss of profit, loss of contracts or downtime) arising from the use or inability to use the equipment or website.
  • Our total liability in connection with any contract is limited to the amount actually paid for the equipment concerned.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

12. Website Content and Intellectual Property

All content on this website (including text, images, logos, graphics, icons, PDFs and layouts) is owned by A F T TRADING L.L.C or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
